14. Notes - brakes on State

14.  7 September 2019

Late morning. While parking for donuts you were lining up at the corner on State Street and West College Avenue. You heard brakes on State and East College, turned and saw a woman in mid-air hit the street on East College. People immediately had the phones dialing 911. Within less than one minute a police cruiser was on the scene and within three minutes a medical squad had arrived. Carol was still buying donuts at Schneider's Bakery. When Carol arrived, she said the lady was sitting on the sidewalk, supposedly in shock. (This was just as the squad was arriving.) Otherwise, you drove south on State to West Park and turned left heading down to Heritage Park for sitting and having your treats. Presently, you are at Kroger's north picking up more groceries. Kim had called while you were driving to the Westerville Walmart to buy a new bird feeder. The holding wire had broken but can be fixed on the almost new birdfeeder. Once home you will take a second Flexeril for muscle pain near your left hip. It was either Flexeril or Trimodal. Paul suggested to use the Flexeril rather than the pain medicine. - Amorella

1155 hours. The pain is fine when sitting but can be a three-inch lightning stretch when standing or walking.

When the person was hit you immediately thought to call but someone nearby already was. You thought about assisting, but people already were. - mh

1201 hours. Good ol' Westerville. That's the old Westerville I remember.

You are home. Carol filled and put up the new feeder. You'll see if Paul has what's needed to fix the old feeder tonight. - Amorella

Evening. You had a good supper at Kim and Paul's. Flexeril is making you sleepy. Post. - Amorella

2137 hours. I hope the person who was hit this morning is going to fully recover.
